Something to keep for years.
The hurdy gurdy plays the happy birthday song, It is a metal hurdygurdy incased in a clear acrylic box. Very good sound, easy to use. Made to last. A lifetime of happy birthday greetings to be delivered on phone, in person, wherever you are. Always brings a smile to everyone's face. So easy even a small child can turn the crank and make the music. Great price as well. You could call it a small "happy making machine" that will fit in your pocket to surprise...and surely bring smiles as well as enthusiastic sing-a-longs.

I will try to post photos, but ours within a few days of play, two of the teeth of the metal comb (the notes) bent permanently. Keep in mind this is a totally closed and sealed system, there is no way to get inside without taking it apart, so I have no idea how these bent, but one I saw was bent, then as I was testing it, turning the crank, another one bent right in front of me. It bent upward so now the bump on the cylinder does not strike the notes when the cylinder rotates around to play the song. It is a very cute song, we love it, and we will purchase a replacement for sure. Amazon gave me a refund (no need to return it) even though it had been just a few days over 30 days. This was a birthday gift for our little 24 month old toddler. She loves it. Just weird how the teeth on the comb spontaneously bent out of shape like that!

I bought this for a busy board I'm designing for my grandson, he is only 3 months old and I hope in 3 more months will be ready for his little hands and bright brain to play and enjoy and get creative, busy, playful and happy 😊. I recommend it. Great price.

Functional little music box bought for my granddaughter. Liked solid little box the mechanism was in ( others are cheap paper!)She loves it!

Very cheap sounding. Very poor quality. Does not even sound like the song that it was supposed to be.
