Tie fighter vs X-wing
This set is one of the more fun ones I have put together in recent memory.Instructions were good as always, Scale works well with other Lego sets and I love the red color in the set.The Tie fighter is solid enough build for flying and playing with the other spaceships, unlike the special edition one. That said, I still like my Poe's X-wing more.A+ for Lego on this one.

Perfect set for yourself or your kids
I was always interested in Lego sets but never had one until now. This TIE fighter looks amazing, took me some seconds to figure where to put some of the pieces as the manual does not show where to put some of them. Some pieces have an arrow to point the location to place then, some pieces do not. I felt like playing those newspaper games "Find the differences between the pictures". Again it only takes few seconds, nothing to die for. Completed it in around 2 hours os less.BTW I am not a kid, but I think I have a new hobby. If you still have that kid within you that loved all star wars movies and want to vanish the stress of the normal life, this could be solution. As for the kids, these sets would be very fun to play with. Good option for gifts.

He thoroughly enjoyed putting it together
My husband is a LEGO fanatic and I actually bought this for him as a Christmas present. He thoroughly enjoyed putting it together. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. It took him a couple hours to finish. The guns shoot out the LEGO missile a good distance. Great quality, which is to be expected from LEGO.

Legos, Legos everywhere!
The five stars is my son's rating of this. Looks good - he reports it was a bit difficult to assemble and he is a Lego pro. I guess that's all part of the fun, though. Sits on his shelf and hasn't fallen apart. All the pieces were there and still are. This is his fifth Star Wars themed Lego kit. Now he wants the $500 Death Star. Beware the possibility of addiction.

Simple and accurate. It was a fast build (less than 2 hours) and was actually really fun to go through the process. The included figurines are nice and the size of the TIE is pretty good. Looks really nice next to the other lego Star Wars fighters, especially Ep VII x-wings

IFL Science... Fiction... and their toys
The Empire has had this model in service for a long time in a galaxy far away. The upgrades for this model include an additional gunner's seat, increasing the crew inside, which is great due to the increase of sophisticated systems that were not featured in the original 1970-1980s documentaries. There were great advances in navigation, electromagnetic spectrum analysis and signal masking, and propulsion upgrades. Also, the user interface has a mixture of classic controls, such as the yoke and throttle, and current controls such as touchscreens for the music, navigation, communications, and weapons systems. This model comes in Deep Space Black, Oppression Grey, and Motivator Red. Interior is finest luxury plastic L-seats for crew comfort on long patrols. There is no bathroom, so make sure that your pilots go before they launch.

What can i say its a Lego Tie Fighter. Awsome. I have built a couple of these recently including the Force Awakens Millennium Falcon and Poe's X-Wing. Instructions are very easy to follow and it is quite a lot of fun to see what you are building come to life.
