Crimping Tool for RJ45, RJ11 4-Pair Keystone Jacks

I bought this tool to make terminating keystone jacks faster and it works great! I did have an issue where it wasn't crimping one of the pairs all the way down. I took the tool apart and was able to adjust the chrome nut. After looking at this i really didn't have to take it all the way apart i just didn't have a pair of pliers to grab on the knurled nut to adjust it, it was on tight.This tool works with these keystone jackshttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PXJB48V/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1I would imagine that it would work with most 110 style keystone jacks.

It didnt work with the jacks i normally use so I bought recommended jacks and still didn't crimp properly, what a epic waste of money.even with the adjustment which you can only go so far some of the pins fail to seat all the way downBe careful of reviews saying it works

These crimpers could be great but fall short unfortunately. At the time of buying these, there were not too many models to pick from. I decided on these, they work half of the time and the other half make the job more difficult. I've tried them with multiple different keystone jack styles and they all do the same. I was really hopeful these would work out as the idea is great and it could definitely save a lot of time if executed properly. I will continue to try them with different style jacks when I come in contact with them during installs.

excellent tool

This has increased my efficiency with terminations and sped up the process significantly. I do not think that this tool is meant for the monoprice jacks, however it 100% works with them. It took me about 20-30 terminations to figure out how to sit the jack into this tool for a clean termination. If you do it incorrectly, it will still punch down but the teeth can get caught. For $50 I was willing to take a shot. IMO this was worth every dollar as it punches down all 8 wires at once you understand the proper way to use it.

Description says compatible with all major brands. I tried 3 major brands and it does not work. If you can find the brand it does work with it might be okay.

Saves time. Easier on the hands.
