I actually enjoyed seasoning this...sort of satisfying in a primal way. Now that it is seasoned, I've been grinding away...lots of guacamole and pesto! It is hard to beat one of these for a fresh taste.

It’s absolutely authentic volcanic rock! I’m happy to add this to my home. The vendor packaged my molcajete above and beyond to perfection to make sure it wouldn’t break!!!! I highly recommend!

I think the delivery cracked the one leg I never got to return it at a time I'm just like life happened but I would order it again so I'd have a complete one it's beautiful I did prop it off in my yard with some rocks

I caused an issue introducing this as a Dirty Santa gift. 😂 I was shocked at the arguments that this created. I’m going to do it again 😬

The mortar arrived with a big chip in the bowl. I returned it 3 months later it comes back as it’s against their return policy. They don’t take defective products back.Look at a different supplier.
