Not water proof.
This camera is supposed to be waterproof. I bought this camera because the description says it's waterproof without a housing. Well the first time I used the camera underwater, it got water in the lens. The water finally came out after 4 days of leaving the camera port door open. I gave it another try underwater today and the same thing happened!! Also, the quality of the photos are not great. My Hero 3+ black was a better camera than this one.

NOT WATERPROOF!!
I went snorkeling in Hawaii last week. After filming for two minutes my gopro 7 silver stopped working. After using the camera as suggested in the manual water got into the unit and it stopped working. I did everything to try and dry it out. I even started taking it apart but later gave up. No doubt the battery is toast and not replaceable anyway. DO NOT USE THIS IN WATER. DO NOT GO SNOKELING WITH IT UNLESS YOU WANT AN EXPENSIVE PAPERWEIGHT!

Freezes at random moment
Freezes at random moments while the blinking light is on giving the impression the camera is recording when in reality it is not. Product is unreliable.Missed to capture my scuba diving wedding anniversary. Waited 2 years for this trip and now I have no memories.
