Hiland HLDS032-GTTHG Portable Propane Table Top Pyramid Glass Tube Patio Heater, 9500 BTU, Bronze, SMALL

I bought one a couple years ago and it still works fine. It looks awesome at night! I got the adapter for 20# tank at Lowes. I like it so much I ordered another one for the other side, unfortunately it arrived damaged and had to send it back. I'm going to try again! You will love the way it looks, not big on heat though unless you sit or stand next to it. Enjoy it!

This unit produces very little heat. We sat within a foot of it and got nothing.

This heater looks nice and operates good. Lights easily. Vertical flame looks good.There was no reference to how much heat is felt setting beside this heater. I was expecting to feel a nice amount of heat after 5 minutes of operation. This heater produces very little radiant heat like the sun shining on a person. Feels like 75% of the heat goes straight up. Would not recommend this heater much below 50 degrees Fahrenheit and no wind. Since it is not recommended for indoor use, this heater is more to look at rather than be used for heat. 25 degrees and no wind when we tried it, could only warm hands above the heater.

We purchased two of these for cool winter evenings in southern Texas. They look nice, but they don't put out much heat. Our neighbors have a different brand with the same BTU rating and similar design, but the flame chamber is enclosed in a steel mesh. The flame isn't as visible on their heaters, but they put out a LOT more radiant heat than ours.

The media could not be loaded. I love this heater, even more than my 6 ft tall pyramid heater. And that’s because the short height is perfect for a person sitting or standing (versus the taller heaters only heating at chest/eye level). And I definitely recommend using a 20 lb tank and hose versus a 1 lb tank.

Item worked great with the first propane tank but after tank was changed pilot light would not light. Actually tried with 3 other tanks. Have requested a return but no response at this time.

Very attractive portable heater, and goes well with our dark brown patio furniture. Set up was easy, and took less than 10 minutes. As has been mentioned by other reviewers, it does not throw off a lot of heat, but does produce a long flame that is mesmerizing. I got well over 75 minutes of use from one bottle of Coleman gas.

Nifty little heater, well-constructed and doesn't look cheap. Unpack box, hook up propane can (small green) and use. Everything worked just fine. Seems best used on the floor between chairs since most heat rises out the top. My impression is that this heater is fantastic for ambiance during outdoor parties but not really designed for keeping warm. I don't see it being used on a table either. That said, I love it and will likely order a few more. I just started using so don't know how long a green propane can will last.
