Works well

I've been using this for a couple of weeks to increase maple sap production. It works, but I have nothing to compare it to (other than no vacuum) because this is the first vacuum pump I've used for this application.It increases sap flow considerably compared to no vacuum. We only have 6 trees tapped (backyard small batch maple syrup production) and they are all strung together with PEX. I have a timer relay running 5 minutes on, 1 minute off. It has been running for about 10 days (mostly just daylight hours, some overnights when the temperature does not drop below freezing) with that timing, so I have been putting some hours on it. When it shuts off, it holds the vacuum. The system is still under vacuum when the pump starts back up again after a minute off. It survived sucking some sap. When I first set up the pump, I found I had to do some fine tuning. I was drawing sap and blowing it all over the place with the exhaust of the vacuum pump. That happened for the first few days.I am pleased with it, but it is louder than I thought it would be for how small it is.If it fails, I'll update the review.
