The Golden Duck Salted Egg Crab Seaweed Tempura

This stuff is SO freaking good. It melts in my mouth. Don't be deterred by the smell when you first open the bag! The taste is very different

I don’t know where this came from or who thought them up. I do know that from the first smell, bite, and dissolving you’ll get a cornucopia of flavors. Sweet, spicy, seafoody, stingy. The second bite is better than the first then the bag will either be out aside because you’re full, or you’ll finish it because they pull you in.Truly enjoyed this in an unexpected way.Warning: you have to like crab and salty spicy things.

So they taste really good, but the bag is like 1/4 full. Way worse than a regular bag of chips and they’re also pretty crushed up.

The Golden Duck Tempura is a delightfully tasty treat, as well as being terribly addicting. The salted egg gives this snack a creamy texture. It's nice n spicy with a burst of crab flavor with each bite. You really can't eat just one. My only complaint is that the bag isn't bigger. lol You've really got to try this.

The flavor is great! But for almost 15$ the bag isn’t even 1/3 of the way full! Great taste, terrible value. I’ll never buy these again

Smell - not a bad smell, it's not stinky or sweet smelling. There's a fried smell, but it's not a heavy fried smell. I believe that comes from the tempura batter, but there's not other scent.Taste - bland. I had the salted egg salmon skin, and I think that I've been spoiled by it. This one doesn't have a strong crab flavor or even a salted egg flavor. It tasted slightly salty, with seaweed flavor. No crab taste. Barely and salted egg taste. It was just bland.Visual and feel - Doesn't look bad. it is seaweed with tempura fried. It doesn't feel greasy, just too large of chunks that requires me to either bite off more than I care for or break off the pieces. Meh.Overall, I won't be buying more of this flavor. Maybe I'll try something else, but it's good if you're just trying this out, but not if you already enjoy something with more flavor. This is definitely on the simpler side of flavors and taste.

For anyone looking for the nutritional info but can't find it in the pictures for the product. These taste great, I highly recommend them! Fishy taste is NOT overpowering, and they have a nice zest to them.
