Safavid Ultra Lined Hardcover Journal, 144pg, 120GSM by Paperblanks (Safavid Binding Art) Diary – January 1, 2010

The media could not be loaded. Ok so at first I wasn’t too sure about this book because of the reviews and none of my questions got answered. So I’m going to try to answer the questions no one answered. So far there has been NO bleeding even with light to medium water coloring. I have used gel pens and acrylic black ink pens I tested one page with a thin sharpie because I like the precision of the thin ones but I wouldn’t risk it. It almost bled through. I wish the magnet was stronger but it closes well. The journal comes with a little pocket which is nice and cute. There’s a ribbon built in to mark my page. The size is very nice. I would compair it to the size of a hardcover book like the book unbroken YA version with the blue cover.(sorry I like to be descriptive) I attached a image bellow of the size compaired to my hand and I have large hands I’m 14 5.8” and male so u can guess based off of that. Other than that the quality is nice. I don’t seem to see the cover wearing away later. It seems pretty good quality. The flap protects the corners of the journal which I love!. I know this journal will see it’s days but I’m sure it will hold up to my wreckless standards. Rather than that book is good. Just don’t use sharpie if you don’t like to mess up your journal and your a profectionist like me! I will be purchasing again!

I bought this book in one of the smaller sizes first but returned it because the detail is so fine that it did not shrink well. In the larger size though, this journal is amazing. The cover is gorgeous. The magnet in the flap makes it work very nice and stays shut. There is even a little pocket in the back for me to keep my notes. This is one of my favorite notebooks from my collection of historical notebooks that I use and love.

Very nice journal. I enjoy the look and feel of it. Love the magnetic cover. Snaps shut nicely. Wish there was a pen holder somewhere inside, so that I could keep the pen with it. I also love the ribbon place holder. I filled it pretty quickly and will be ordering another soon. It might be slightly improved if it held more pages. For my preference, it would have about 50 more pages in it, but, it's sturdy and easy to carry and made a very nice companion journal for the past few weeks. For those who prefer a hard cover journal, I definitely recommend this one.

The detail is so fine and precise that it wouldn't do as just a decoration-like table piece for me, I kept wanting to use it, however I didn't want to fill up the pages and take away it's usefulness..So I found the perfect use for this beautiful hardcover journal.My bedroom computer, with my tv connected to it as well as wireless keyboard and touchpad mouse, doesn't have a desk, the mouse requires a solid surface or the left/right clicks won't activate. Placing the mouse on this journal made for the perfect creative component and perfect size I had in mind, Though I'm not using the product for it's intended purpose, I'm sure the artist would be glad to know the use and enjoyment I've gotten out of this product, using it every night for over six months and it still looks brand new.Thank you Heartley & Marks!

this is a really neat journal to use for keeping notes or writing about you life's expiriences. It is rather expensive and you can find these in big name book stores. i really like this journal. can not complain about this, rather brag about it

Love this journal! I have bought and filled three or four over the years. High quality materials and gorgeous cover. The magnetic closure works well and the memento pocket in the back is secure and convenient for loose notes and photos. Highly recommend it.
