You get what you pay for and this is cheap, but does the job. It's essentially an office chair without wheels and riser. It's pretty comfy. The material feels nice to the touch. It gives enough support when upright and requires a backward push to recline. The stool is sturdy enough to sit on too. It's a bit low, if I was going to say anything about it.It comes in a lot of peices, took about 45 minutes to put together. I found the arms a bit difficult to get on, but the rest was farely straight forward. The bottom footers are a bit repetitive and finicky.It's what I wanted and does what I wanted it to do.

I read in some of the reviews that some reviewers found this recliner difficult to assemble, thirty minutes for the chair and twenty for the footstool is the time i spent on assembly. If it takes you 4 hours I would recommend you get someone else to do it. I also read a review that said the recliner did not lock in place when the tension knob was fully tightened .The recliner is not supposed to lock in place this is just a tensioner. If the recliner locked when fully reclined you would not be able to exit the chair in the correct posture and would probably end up pulling yourself up by the arms on the chair,which is the wrong way.Overall a very nice ,stylish chair ,comfortable and at an affordable price.

Mum (76 and frail and small) sat on the chair on the leg has snapped. It’s not at all sturdy or durable. I have requested a refund so will update on hearing back from the company.Company have said they won’t refund and the crack can be caused by overuse (it’s a chair) purchased for Mum to sit in my room while I am bedbound after surgery. It’s used minimal times.They also said that it could be due to changes in temp. Again, had surgery so the room is held at a set temp. Avoid this company at all costs.They have now stated that the chair must be disassembled and in original packaging unused and then returned to them. I CANNOT do that from my bed. I have asked if they will reimburse the costs of assembly I have paid and disassembly that I will now have to pay in order to get a refund. I am awaiting a response.Honestly, do yourselves a favour and steer so far clear.

I really am impressed with the quality and design of this chair. It’s comfortable and looks lovely in my dining room. I would highly recommend for the price. It was also fairly easy to assemble
