The product works well but there is too much in the container.

I read the reviews and wanted to try this. This works incredibly well. A mosquito bite will itch me over a week, with small amount of this on a bandaid..next day...no more itching. I remove the bandaid. Now tick bites are terrible for me 2-3 weeks with a hard itchy knot. With this, a small amount on a bandaid, itching stopped within 3 days and no raised bump. For ticks I applied this twice a day. You can tell when you no longer need the medicine. Just really amazing, wish I knew about this long ago. I haven't had poison ivy this year so I haven't tried that. I do use spot bandaids usually because they seal all around the bite. This is a huge amount and great price!

Black salve has been used since ancient times and more recently by native Americans. My grandfather was Cherokee. My dad used it on us for everything. Of course i think it was much stronger came in a little tin but same concept. Heals bug bites. Rashes. Helps get splinters out of u cover them with cotton ball completely and tissue and leave overnight 💯. Poison ivy. Boils. They use to say skin cancer??? Anyway. I use it but u have to cover it tightly and air tight or it does NO GOOD. Messy stuff.

The media could not be loaded. The TRIMOL Ichthammol 20% Drawing Salve is a valuable asset to our first aid kit. We were out of our small tube so we decided to purchase this larger container. I was thankful it arrived the day after I placed the order because I had gotten a splinter deep in my hand that was partially rotten wood and I could not dig it all out. I put the drawing salve on the spot and covered it with a Band-Aid. The next day it had pulled the rotten splinter to the surface where I could easily pull it out. I recommend this product to anyone that is looking for a clean, high quality Ichthammol that does not have a strong smell!

I had an inch. I didn’t know what it was from, maybe a bug bite and I put a little tiny bit of this on the itchy spot and it instantly stopped itching. I did the same thing on my husband‘s tick bite. and it immediately stopped itching. It’s a great value for the size tub that you get.

Works on humans, better than others that are far smaller, for a lot more.
