Perfect fit for 2015 Honda CRV key
I purchased this key fob replacement for unconventional purposes, not because an existing fob is broken. I thought I’d anyway in case someone is in a similar situation and dealing with a loved one with Alzheimer’s, plus it’s worth noting how simple it was to switch out…My mom has Alzheimer’s and can no longer drive so we took her car keys away. She was going crazy constantly looking for them and forgetting that we took them. To ease her anxiety (and anger at us), I bought this uncut key fob and used it to replace her existing key. It fit her 2015 Honda CRV key perfectly and was easy to switch out! The remote feature still works so she can lock and unlock the car, but I left the uncut key on the fob so she can’t start the vehicle. Although she can’t drive, she seems content to have the key back and isn’t constantly looking for it.The only downside I can think of is that it didn’t come with a tiny screwdriver but I was able to find a glass repair kit for less than $1.50 at Walgreens. It came with a screwdriver that is just the right size for the screw in this fob. No biggie, we I know it’ll come in handy in the future.

Metal battery bracket
Back key shell was missing the metal bracket for the battery. Swapped it from the old one, worked as intended.

Keep an open mind as to the options available.
Great product and the options it provides are even greater. Instead of paying $300 for a new key fob, I just took the electronics from the old fob and installed them in the new one. It only cost $10 to have the key cut so I saved almost $290.
